Light your grill and let it get pretty hot.
Take several large handfuls of fresh okra and wash. Dry.
Toss in a bowl with olive oil and your favorite spice rub or salt and pepper.
Place each piece of okra horizontally on the grill. Turn every few minutes as the pieces get grill marks and turn brown. Remove from grill and serve hot or room temperature. Easy to eat with your fingers!
