1. In a large bowl, combine squash, onions, peppers, garlic, and relish.
2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine oil, vinegar, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whip with a wire whisk until well blended.
3. Pour marinade over vegetables and mix together. (You probably won't need all of it.) Cover and refrigerate for several hours (if possible).
