You won't want green bean casserole any other way once you've tried it this way!

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. steamed fresh green beans
  • 1/4 tsp tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp worcheshire sauce
  • 1 c. cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 c. parmesan cheese, grated
  • sprinkle garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. salt (preferably freshly ground sea salt)
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • TOPPING: 1/2 c slivered raw almonds, 1 part butter, 1 part bread crumbs to your liking

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease or spray casserole dish.  Follow instructions on steamed fresh green beans package.  Mix tabasco, worcheshire, cream of celery soup, sour cream, milk, diced onion, paprika, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, salt, pepper in casserole dish.  Once green beans are steamed, add to casserole dish.

TOPPING: Heat butter in sauce pan on stove top, once melted, add bread crumbs.  Mix with fork until a crumbly texture is reached.  Add slivered raw almonds and spread on top of green bean mixture.

*NOTE* you can mix an additional 1/4 c slivered raw almonds in with the green bean mixture for extra crunchiness

Bake covered with foil at 350 degrees until heated through, enjoy!
