The Best Green Bean Casserole

The Best Green Bean Casserole. Fresh, colorful and crunchy. Make it this Thanksgiving!

  • 3 lb steamed fresh green beans
  • 1/4 tsp tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp worcheshire sauce
  • 1 c. cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 c. parmesan cheese, grated
  • sprinkle garlic salt
  • 1 tsp salt (preferably freshly ground sea salt)
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • TOPPING: 1/2 c slivered raw almonds, 1/2 c French's fried onion topping


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease or spray casserole dish.  Follow instructions on steamed fresh green beans package.  Mix tabasco, worcheshire, cream of celery soup, sour cream, milk, diced onion, paprika, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, salt, pepper in casserole dish.  Once green beans are steamed, add to casserole dish.

TOPPING: Mix French's fried onions with slivered raw almonds and spread on top of green bean mixture.

Bake covered with foil at 350 degrees until heated through, enjoy!
