Dez Bryant has never complained to me about getting the ball
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (88) and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo (9) talk on Authentic Marc Savard Jersey the sideline after yelling at each other in the second half of NFL football action at Ford Field in Detroit, MI on Sunday, October 27, 2013. (Brad Loper/The Dallas Morning News)
DETROIT Dez Bryant was as animated on the sidelines Sunday as he's ever been during his time with the Dallas Cowboys.
The 24 year old wide receiver began showing his emotion during the third quarter, particularly after Tony Romo didn find him on a third down throw that resulted in an incomplete pass. Romo only targeted Bryant twice during the first half. Bryant finished with three receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns.
But Romo said Bryant wasn pleading for more passes. In fact, Romo says Bryant has never complained about getting the football tossed in his direction.
"He's a competitive guy," Romo said Sunday. "He's never complained to me about getting the ball. He knows the ball is going to where it's supposed to. He knows that. I think more than anything it's about him willing the team.
"When you guys see emotion sometimes from Dez, it's just rah rah more than it is being a 'me guy.' That's not who Dez is. I think that would be completely out of character for him for it to be a 'me situation.' He does a great job. Sometimes, it's, 'Come on guys, we're better than this,' really emotionally. But he's never a selfish guy."
Believe Romo if you'd like but that sure sounded like a veteran quarterback trying to cover for a teammate that took things too far. If it was all good, Jason Witten and DeMarcus Ware wouldn't have been getting into Bryant's face near the end of the game.
And Cowboys coach Jason Garrett probably wouldn't have had Bryant join him in a locker room office, closing the door behind him Women's David Krejci Jersey for a post game conversation off limits to the media.
Sunday wasn the first time this season that Bryant spiked his helmet near the team bench and shouted at Romo. While the veteran quarterback acknowledged that it common for Bryant to show that type of emotion on the sideline, he said the 2010 first round pick is Marc Savard Authentic Jersey not a distraction to the team.
"It probably happens 12 times a year during games," Romo said. "Some guys are emotional during games. Others keep it in a little bit. It's what helps him play good.
"There will be some stories about it, I'm sure, but everyone in the locker room knows there is nothing to it. It's not like this guy is being deceitful or trying to do something that helps himself. He literally just cares about winning.
"He wants the ball because he thinks he can help us win. But he's never going to come to me and just make Authentic David Krejci Jersey that a point. That's because he's a good teammate."

Judge tosses ethics fine for state Corrections Women's Lars Eller Jersey Dept
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) A manager at the Department of Corrections did not violate ethics rules by spending work hours on a nonprofit program she founded, a judge ruled Friday.
The Olympian reported that the decision by Thurston County Superior Court Judge Gary Tabor led to a $5,000 reduction in fines for Belinda Stewart. Stewart must still pay $8,400 for Dickie Moore L Jersey violating ethics rules by using an agency computer for an outside job.
The state Executive Ethics Board had argued that it properly fined Stewart for working on a nonprofit that helps felons re enter society. The board contended that the work did not benefit Corrections Department employees. But Tabor said the work benefited the department because it has a role in reducing recidivism.
"She's been totally exonerated of any wrongdoing except for one technical violation," said Saxon Rodgers, Stewart's Lars Eller S Jersey attorney.
Assistant Attorney General Chad Standifer, canadiensofficialonline.com/Authentic-Dickie-Moore-Jersey who represented the ethics board, disagreed with the characterization that the violation was "technical."
"It's either a violation, or it isn't," he said.
Both sides are considering appeals of the ruling. Rodgers said his client is disappointed about the $8,400 she is still being asked to pay. The fine is related to using her computer to store files for her other job as a "new warden trainer" for the National Institute of Corrections.
"It's a lot of money," Rodgers said. Stewart is still working at the Corrections Department as a communications and outreach manager.

Save to WishlistI was informed that Junior's seafood has been open for 4 years now. This was my first time inside the Daniel Briere 3X Jersey place since it changed hands. I have been eating at the other side of the building at the sandwiches (every week or so) shop for about 30 years. I'm not a big fan of order by number. Then here's your food and it's all cook together in the same oil. I know it's all seafood but Brendan Gallagher 2X Jersey fish is fish and oysters are oysters. This food was pretty tasty. I could tell the difference between the different pieces. The shrimp were cook correctly and so was the oysters too. Now the fish was a little over done but not shoe leather yet. Now the place was packed at 2:30 in the afternoon and I was almost the youngest in there. Then it is Oceanway on the Northside. So maybe next time I stop in it might be a little harder choice on which side of the building to eat from.I was driving around on my lunch break and happened to see this place for the first time. the parking lot was jammed and I happened to "catch" the 1 spot left! I'm happy I did. The service was very helpful and quick. They have a good variety of different catches and crustaceans on the board. I wanted a po boy sandwich, but did not see it listed. Instead I was treated to a Pita version of one with fried shrimp and oysters. I was very happy with the quality of the food and service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys quality seafood at a fair price. I will return, great job Juniors!!1 out of 1 found this review helpfulOMG!! I think Junior's Seafood is absolutely scrumptious!! For years, I'd passed by this restaurant, always saw a crowd, but never stopped. One day a friend invited me to lunch and we ended up at Junior's. I loved every morsel!! The food is sometimes a bit on the salty side for my taste, but cooked to perfection! I've tried the shrimp, oysters, and gator tails, The baked potatoes are always fresh and not like twiced baked! The prices are reasonable and the staff is always pleasant. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. I eat in and get it to go! Either way I've been totally satisfied! Looking forward to my next visit!!1 out of 1 found this review helpfulWe went into this resturant with a large party we all ordered something different.
