New Orleans New Orleans Saints
The Carolina Panthers entered the Mercedes Benz Superdome to face off with the New Orleans Saints on Dec. 8, 2013, and it was a battle for NFC South supremacy. Both teams had a 9 3 record coming into the night, http://www.officialbuccaneersnflauthentic.com/authentic-mike-evans-jersey.html but the Panthers had an eight game winning streak and the Saints were blown out last week. One would lead the division by the end of the night, and it wasn't going to be easy.
New Orleans proved to be too Mike Evans Youth Jersey much as they ended Carolina's eight game winning streak by thrashing the Panthers 31 13.
In the first quarter, the Saints offense seemed anemic and could do nothing again, but the Panthers were different. Carolina had two decent drives that both stalled in Saints' territory and they ended up with two field goals to go up 6 0 by the end of the first 15.
The second quarter was a different story.
Carolina had only allowed two first half touchdowns all season, but the Saints managed three in the second quarter alone. Two scoring strikes went to Marques Colston and a third from Drew Brees went to Jimmy Graham to put the Saints up 21 6 by halftime.
After halftime, things slowed down Ben Gardner Youth Jersey a bit. The Saints had a good drive that almost ended in another Colston touchdown, but his knee came down half a yard short. New Orleans settled for a short Garrett Hartley field goal to go up 24 6, and then the Saints defense took over again.
Neither team could do much though, and the fourth quarter arrived with the Saints leading by 18.
Come the fourth quarter, the Saints' defense tightened up again and again as they hounded Cam Newton who was sacked time and time again www.cowboysnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-ben-gardner-jersey.html by Cameron Jordan and Junior Galette. This allowed Brees to find Graham once again for another touchdown to put the Saints up 31 6 with less than 10 minutes left.
The Panthers finally got into the end zone thanks to a Newton to Steve Smith 17 yard pass with just about five minutes left in the game. That made it 31 13 and Carolina tried an onside kick, but it went right into the arms of the Saints Benjamin Watson.
Carolina was able to hold the Saints on that possession and get the ball back with less than three minutes to play. It was obvious that the Panthers really weren't going to try much from that point.

Quinton Coples disrupt with spin moves on Saints' final drive
Plenty of folks in MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon surely held their breath when Drew Brees lined up to begin at a drive at his own 19 yard line with 1:58 remaining, and the Jets up 26 20 on Brees and the Saints.
Brees is a future Hall of Famer. With him under center, this game was far from over. But on the next five snaps, the Saints failed to gain a single yard, and the Jets defense got the final stand it needed for a critical win and 5 4 record heading into the off week.
Let start with the first play: first and 10 at the 19 with 1:58 remaining. The Jets showed a five man rush before the snap. They bluffed with a four man rush at the snap, then dropped Quinton Coples and David Harris off, leaving Sheldon Richardson and Demario Davis attacking with a rush.

View full sizeOn second and 10, Muhammad Wilkerson lined up head up against Saints center Brian de la Puente a matchup that would go in Wilkerson's favor.
View full sizeWilkerson beat the block and drew an important holding call that set the Saints back.
View full sizeOn third and 19, Richardson again got into the backfield and hit Brees as he threw, after beating left guard Ben Grubbs.
View full sizeOn the Saints' final offensive snap, fourth and 19, Quinton Coples matched up against left tackle Charles Brown.
View full sizeThe Jets' pass rushers were successful with spin moves on the Charles Sims Youth Jersey final drive, and Coples used one to get past Brown.
Richardson, who is having a fantastic rookie season, used a spin move to get past Saints center Brian de la Puente. Richardson was able to stick his hand up, in Brees face, and deflect the ball as it left Brees hand. It fell incomplete over the middle. This was a big moment on the drive, to stop the Saints on first and 10.
So was the disruption Muhammad Wilkerson caused on the next play, as Brees completed a 16 yard pass to Nick Toon. The Jets lined Wilkerson head up against de la Puente, who wasn going to have any help with blocking one of the NFL best pass rushers. Wilkerson made the Saints pay. He got past de la Puente, who held him, and was flagged for a 9 yard penalty that set the Saints drive back.
This brought up second and 19 at the 10. Brees actually had some time on this play, and he tossed a pass to Lance Moore at the 21, but it appeared Moore never saw the ball, or didn turn around in time.
The Saints had two more chances. Here came third and 19 at the 10, with 1:36 remaining. Brees needed a deep completion. The Jets showed a four man rush on this play, and indeed rushed four. Brees had a decent amount of time, but had to fling the ball as Richardson beat left guard Ben Grubbs with yet another spin move. Richardson hit Brees as he threw and the ball was nearly intercepted just past midfield by Dee Milliner.
At this point, the Saints were behind the chains in a bad way, with fourth and 19 at the 10. There were 1:27 remaining. So while this was the Saints last chance, they did have some time, if Brees was able to complete the ball for a first down. The Jets again showed four and rushed four. But that was enough to beat the Saints five man offensive line, especially with Wilkerson getting penetration into the pocket against right guard Jahri Evans, which helped move Brees to the left, directly into Coples path.
Coples was lined up against left tackle Charles Brown, and then had to absorb a body blow from Pierre Thomas as the running back rolled out into the flat. After pin Austin Seferian-Jenkins Youth Jersey balling off Thomas, Coples made a fantastic spin move to roll off Brown one more effective spin move from a Jets pass rusher on this drive and found himself face to face with Brees. It was only a matter of time before Coples pulled Brees down from behind.
Coples showed tremendous agility http://www.officialbuccaneersnflauthentic.com/authentic-charles-sims-jersey.html on this play, taking the hit from Thomas, bouncing right back into Brown, and then quickly spinning to Brown outside shoulder, in order to attack Brees and lock up an important victory for the Jets.
Brad Sorenson Kadeem Edwards Youth Jersey
Eliminated Week 8Brad, 25 (Austin, Texas), began cooking at age 17 and moved quickly up the culinary ladder, graduating from http://www.officialbuccaneersnflauthentic.com/authentic-kevin-pamphile-jersey.htmlthe Culinary Institute of America. At the age of 22, Brad opened Black www.officialbuccaneersnflauthentic.com/authentic-kadeem-edwards-jersey.html Creek Bistro as executive chef, which became a top new restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. I like to use different techniques to make food people are comfortable with but presented in a fun way. My food is definitely influenced by my experiences in the world of professional kitchens.
Favorite restaurant: Torchy's Tacos, Amy's Ice Cream and all the great barbecue in Austin. Three foods you can't live without (other than bread or water): Without very much consideration, bacon would be the one thing I would miss the most if outlawed. There would be riots in the streets. I read a lot, love watching movies and am almost always listening to music. Beatles music is one of my favorite things in the world, plus the Rock Band game is incredibly fun. I'm usually hanging out with my little brother Alex, my sidekick. I just recently started hiking in Austin, and it's a lot of fun. Basketball is another favorite of mine playing and watching. Favorite Food Network chef: Alton Brown and Bobby FlayFavorite shows (don't have to be on Food Network): Iron Chef (original and America), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Psych, Good Eats and anything on Discovery or Animal Planet. Favorite food destination: I've always wanted to eat a meal at El Bulli in Spain. The preparation and thought that goes into the food there is something I have always wanted to experience. Culinary inspirations: I get a lot of inspiration for food from Kevin Pamphile Youth Jersey talking to other people. I have worked for some great chefs and with a lot of amazing people. One of the biggest inspirations for my feelings about food comes from my family; our dinners would make anyone want to cook for a living. Three people, alive or dead, whom you'd like to invite to a dinner party, and what culinary delights would you prepare for your guests: John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and Albert EinsteinI would have to cook food that I wouldn't have to pay too much attention to, because really it would be all about the conversation. Lennon loved cornflakes so he would be easy to make happy. For Sinatra and Einstein I would make good pasta with red sauce. There would be Italian sausage, good fresh mozzarella and some fresh herbs along with plenty of red wine. Favorite books: Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, The Flavor Bible Culinary Artistry (Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg) and Herman Hesse's SiddharthaFavorite movies: Tombstone, The Boondock Saints, The Hangover, Caddyshack and most James Bond movies with Sean ConneryWhy do you think you should be the Season 6 Food Network Star: I should be the Food Network Star because I can teach people to increase their level of cooking in a relatable, fun way. The journey I have taken from culinary school to being a chef in restaurants has helped me develop a knack for cooking and teaching others. Food is an amazing thing; it gives you the ability to share a part of yourself with others.
