First off you need a good bread dough, sum sugar course, let rise twice.
K once dough is ready cut with knife small chucks off and roll into small 3/4" height by 3" length. For your preference adjust.
Place the noodle rolls on a cookie sheet and let cover with a tea towl or something similiar. Let rise twice the size. As you prob know when placing do not let the noodles touch much. ;)
Warm up an electric frying pan that has a cover with vent lid(s). Put 2 1/2 cups of water or the better water ;) in the pan. Heat at medium.
Lay the noodles into the pan leaving some space between.
Now take sum butter and place little bits inbetween the noodles, adjust as much butter as you like.
Now take cut up rings of onions sliced thin and lay over top of the noodles.
Cover with one vent open.
Tooo not peek!
Cook for about 30 min, lift pan around that time hold lid down and listen if any water is swishing about.
If you can not hear liquid moving about, they are done, and if you are too late after the water is gone, they be burned.
Also go by the smell when lifting and swishing , if it smells good, cant be bad huh heh.
Once you think they done turn off the heat and let steam for 5 min.
This is not a exact recipe has some practice to get right.
I have shown though how tasty they can be.
Post Script:
If you do not wish the noodles to be brown on the bottom you can add thin sliced potatos on the bottom before adding the noodles, just watch the heat so you do not burn them and the noodles will not have browned eh, depends on how you like them.
Its all in the swish and smell.
Oh you add the salt and pepper after they done. :)
