Reciperate must be a real web 2.0 service because we've had our first bout with spam within the system.  Looks like a few people have made fake profiles to send unwanted messages to other members.

I'm thinking about putting on a 'Report Spam' button when you read messages.  If a user gets more than 5 reports, they won't be able to send messages any more.

Put your comments below if you have a better idea.

There are a lot of really great recipes on this site, but it looks like most of the vegetarian ones are for side dishes and desserts...  I'd love to hear from you guys about your favorite vegetarian entrees so I can build up my recipe box!  You know, you don't have to BE a vegetarian to love vegetarian cooking!

I don't know if you all are aware of this, but one of my buddies is currently pulling off a crazy stunt on the interwebs.

Check out www.millioncount.com

Harper was one of the first people I met in Birmingham.  A good guy and he's doing this for a great cause.

Log in to see if he goes crazy trying to count to one million.

Noah,

Great idea.  I am looking for that flank steak recipe.  No hiding the great ones.

Noah--
I love this site!!! Especially that you posted the black bean soup ...you left off the tip that it's best with a piece of fried chicken in the middle.

I am currently debating whether to unleash this beast of a recipe unto the world.   Chick peas, a dash of lemon, oh good god

Earliest ever -- June 26, two Sun Gold cherries and one Brandywine. I made it into the house with the Brandywine, but the Sun Golds went down the hatch, warm, as soon as I picked them. I have never had Brandywines ripen this early in KY. Brought it into the sink, thinking I'd slurp it down like an apple, but a little restraint showed up. I sliced it into chunks, threw on a little EV olive oil and maybe a teaspoon of Cavalli Balsamic seasoning - and, as the saying goes, I saw the stars. Brandywine is surely a star in my cosmos - a gnarly, ugly, fantastic tomato. Exciting to have it nearly a month earlier than usual.

Eh hem...

I think this is going to be grrreat!  I do, I do.  I love it already.

I think my first recipe shall be grilled cheese.  Yes, grilled cheese.

Ah, now if I could just adjust this new collar.  I hate these wrap around plate collars.  Why didn't mother just order from LL Bean?
